Usain Bolt revealed his disappointment on Nesta Carter's positive drugs test, which affected him losing an Olympic medal.
Decades after Usain Bolt was stripped of his 4x100m gold medal after relay teammate Nester Carter was found guilty of doping, the track icon has finally made his feelings known on the situation.
At the Beijing 2008 Games, the Jamaican 4x100m relay squad of Carter, Michael Frater, Asafa Powell, and Bolt set a world record of 37.10 seconds to win the gold medal.
However, in 2017, their medal was nullified after Carter was found guilty of doping by the International Olympic Committee. The sprinter tested positive for a banned substance, resulting in all of his medals being stripped - including his 2008 relay gold.

This had a knock-on effect on his teammates, as Bolt and co also had their medals taken away.
"Nesta Carter came to me and apologised [about it]. It was disappointing. But everybody makes mistakes. I’ve moved on," said Bolt in a recent interview with The Times.
When asked if Carter's actions had any damning effect on his legacy at the time, Bolt said:
"I am disappointed based on losing a medal. But it won't take away from what I have done throughout my career, because I have won my individual events and that’s the key thing.”
