The African record holder delivered a commanding performance in his season opener with a brilliant throw of 20.82m at the World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meeting. finishing well ahead of his closest competitors.
Romania's Andrei Toader claimed second place with a throw of 20.55m, while Armin Sinančević of Serbia rounded out the podium with a 19.93m effort.
The rest of the field was led by home favorite Szymon Mazur of Poland, who finished fourth with 19.69m, and Italy's Nick Ponzio, who placed fifth with 19.58m. Other competitors included Piotr Goździewicz (18.02m), Jakub Korejba (17.55m), Wojciech Marok (17.48m), Damian Rodziak (17.23m), and Ukraine’s Maksym Lebediuk (15.75m).
Enekwechi's victory marked a significant milestone at the Polish event, which has become his traditional season-opening competition. After finishing as the runner-up in both 2024 (21.14m) and 2025 (20.88m), he finally ascended to the top of the podium in his third consecutive appearance.
