Paris Olympic champion Quincy Wilson blazed to a New World U18 Best and American U18 Record (subject to ratification) at the Ed Murphey Classic.
Sensational Quincy Wilson broke his World U18 Best to win the men's 400m event against pro athletes at the Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis.
The 17-year-old clocked a blistering time of 44.10s, which erased his previous best of 44.20s set in Gainesville a year ago, further solidifying his status as the next big name in the event in years to come.

Wilson defeated his US compatriot and fellow Olympic 4x400m gold medallist Bryce Deadmon in 44.39s, while Jamaica’s Delano Kennedy was third in 45.00s.
With his time, the talented youngster is the joint fourth-fastest 400m runner in the world so far this season, and now highly ranked to challenge for a top 3 spot at the US Championships in two weeks, ahead of the World Championships in Tokyo this September.
