The players, Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, Paul Onuachu, and Chidozie Awaziem, left Casablanca aboard a private jet shortly after Nigeria’s victory over Egypt in the third-place playoff.
Early Departure from Camp
Osimhen, Ndidi, and Onuachu, who are all based in Turkey, returned to their respective clubs to resume domestic commitments. Defender Chidozie Awaziem, who plays his club football in France, also departed with the group.
