Amid the trending reports of Achraf Hakimi’s divorce saga, the father of the Paris Saint Germain wingback has opened up on his role in his son’s career.
Hakimi is currently processing his divorce from his estranged wife Hiba Abouk who is pushing for separation from the Morocco international.
Hakimi, 24, who is currently charged with rape has made the headlines this past week following details of the divorce proceedings between himself and Abouk.

An unconfirmed report last week emerged that Hakimi’s estranged wife Hiba Abouk would not be able to keep any of his money after it was revealed in the court hearing that the Morocco international already registered all his assets to his mother’s name (Sadia Mouth).
However, Pulse Sports cannot verify the authenticity of this claim as neither Hakimi nor his wife, Hiba confirmed the report.

Amid the reports of Hakimi’s wealth transfer to his mother in the recent divorce saga, a previous video showing the father of the 24-year-old PSG wingback, Hassan Hakimi, re-emerged on social media and has since gone viral.
In the video, Hassan Hakimi was speaking about his sacrifices and how proud he is to see his son grow up to become one of the most respected athletes in the Arab world.
“I want to tell all parents that nothing comes easy. In Europe, Nothing is free,” he was quoted as saying in the video provided by Maghrib Foot.
“When Achraf arrived in Madrid, I had to take him everyday at 4:30 pm, and I used to come back home at 9:30 pm. I drove 50km to the training camo and 50km back to our house.
My message to parents is to make sacrifices if they want their kids to succeed. I thank God for everything because the sacrifices I made led to a positive outcome.
Achraf’s success makes me proud especially when I meet people who tell me that he is a role model for all Arabs and Moroccans. It really makes me proud.”
Meanwhile, Pulse Sports reported that Hiba Abouk, 36, had finally opened up amid the trending report surrounding her divorce from Hakimi.
The Spanish-Tunisian actress and model who graced the May edition of Elle Spain magazine opened up on her divorce from the Moroccan wingback and highlighted her current priorities following her separation from the PSG star.

According to Abouk, who has already branded her marriage as a ‘failed project’, she understands that divorce is never an easy process.
"There are days when it is like that, and others in which you have to know how to fit the blows and make decisions, sometimes complicated, get used to new situations ... And that can unbalance you a bit, " she told Elle Magazine.
“For me the most important thing is the health of my children and everything else, really, takes a back seat," she added.
Meanwhile, amid the reports of Hakimi transferring his wealth to his mother’s name in the wake of the divorce proceedings, Pulse Sports also reported that the Moroccan’s mother has denied any knowledge of being in custody of her son’s assets.
Mouth further defended her son’s action in the event that the reports of his son transferring his wealth to her name is true, while suggesting that a divorce from Hiba Abouk is what is best for him.
