French club FC Nantes is through to the next round of the Europa League after a crucial away win in Greece.

Nantes defeated their host Olympiacos 2-0 in the final game of the group stages with Super Eagles winger Moses Simon in action.

Simon had a game to forget for the Yellows and only lasted 46 minutes before he was subbed off.

He completed just 38% of his passes, attempted one shot, created one chance and made one key pass.

The 27-year-old will eventually be taken off just before the start of the second half with the game still goalless.

Late show sees Nantes qualify

Nantes snatched the second ticket for the knockout round in Group G after a hard-fought and late show in Greece.

Nantes needed a win and for Qarabag to slip off in the other group game to book a place in the round of 32.
