Fenerbahce's Anderson Talisca was hit by object thrown from crowd during their match against Alanyaspor

A disturbing incident marred Fenerbahce's Super Lig match against Alanyaspor on Sunday, as Anderson Talisca was struck on the back of the head by an object thrown from the crowd.

The incident occurred as Talisca celebrated his first Super Lig goal, which doubled Fenerbahce's lead towards the end of the first half.

As the Brazilian forward turned his back to the stands to celebrate by the corner flag, a drink appeared to be launched from the crowd, hit him on the back of the head.

Video footage from several angles captured the shocking incident, showing Talisca crumpling to the floor in pain. His teammates quickly surrounded him, appealing to the officials and medics for intervention.

Former Manchester United midfielder Fred was among the first to arrive on the scene, but instead of calming the situation, he appeared to goad the Alanyaspor fans with arm gestures.

Despite the incident, Talisca was able to recover sufficiently to continue playing, only being withdrawn in the 70th minute.

The incident has raised concerns about crowd safety and behaviour in Turkish football. Fenerbahce and Alanyaspor officials have yet to comment on the incident, but it is likely that disciplinary action will be taken against those responsible.

Talisca's goal was his first in the Super Lig since joining Fenerbahce from Al-Nassr during the winter transfer window.
