The couple stole the spotlight on the red carpet as photographers and guests present couldn't help but be in awe of their gorgeous look.

Their night was made perfect when Duplantis was named the Sportsman of the Year winner, joining the legendary Usain Bolt as Track and Field's only recipient of the award.

The 25-year-old Swedish pole vault world record holder was presented with the accolade in Madrid in a ceremony that brought together the greatest athletes not only of the past 12 months but of the 21st Century.

Duplantis had a historic 2024 season by winning his second world indoor title in Glasgow and went on to win Olympic gold in Paris with a world record clearance, before breaking it again at the Silesia Diamond League meeting the following month.

His record-breaking season earned him his fourth nomination for the prestigious award, having been nominated in the past three years.

In addition, by being fourth time lucky, Duplantis became the second track-and-field athlete to cop the award, after four-time winner Bolt. He is also the first athlete after Tiger Woods as the only former NCAA winner.
