Chelsea's FA CUP defeat to Brighton has raised questions about the club's lack of a reliable goalscorer.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has played down the impact of Joao Felix's departure, saying the team isn't missing the attacking midfielder.

"We are not missing João Félix," Maresca said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

"João is happy at Milan and we are happy João is happy there."

Felix joined AC Milan on loan in January after struggling to secure regular playing time under Maresca at Chelsea.

The Portuguese star had a tough time making a significant impact at the Blues since his summer move from Atletico Madrid.

Maresca also provided an update on the team's injury situation, mentioning that striker Nico Jackson could return to action soon.

"We had two striker injuries on deadline day, it is something difficult to think," he said. "But Nico Jackson can be back very soon."

The Blues lost 2-1 to Brightonin the FA Cup 4th round, and their only realistic hope of silverware is the Europa Conference League.

Maresca will certainly put more emphasis on a top four finish as they look to return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
