Harry Kane has been linked to a move to Manchester United in recent weeks and former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp has urged him to leave the club.

The England International has performed excellently for Spurs this season scoring 28 Premier League goals despite the club having a difficult season.

The Tottenham striker has a year left on his current contract and has been weighing his options with Man United lurking around. Redknapp has advised him that leaving the club this summer is the right thing to do.

Now is the right time for Kane says Jamie

The former Tottenham midfielder has said that this is the right time to leave Spurs due to the difficulties at the club.

Speaking on Sky Sports, the former midfielder said, “It's the facts, it feels Spurs are a shambles, if you are harry kane with one year to go this is the time to leave he has to push now.

“(Manchester) United they might get someone, he missed Man City a few years ago, right now he needs to push with one year on contract to go somewhere.

“Tottenham are like a social experiment of how far you can push your fans before they completely lose it. They need to do something, no one wants to lose Harry Kane, he has been incredible but deserves better.

Man United in search for a striker

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is looking to sign a striker in the summer and he’s looking at the possibility of bringing Kane to Old Trafford.

Kane's chances of winning a trophy for the first time in his career could increase if he decides to go to Erik Ten Hag's team.

The Red Devils have struggled this season in the absence of a top striker, with Anthony Martial struggling with injury throughout the season.

Manchester United will face Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday while Tottenham will travel to Leeds for the final game of the season.
