Victor Osimhen reflects on his unforgettable, record-breaking season with Galatasaray after their win against Sivasspor.
Galatasaray thrashed Sivasspor 4-1 on Saturday evening to edge closer to winning the Turkish League title.
Super Eagles star Osimhen, who has been in fine form this season, scored two goals to increase his goal tally.
The Nigerian international exceeded his previous high by scoring 33 goals across all tournaments, with 24 of those coming in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen speaks after breaking personal record
Osimhen showed appreciation to his supporters and lauded Galatasaray as Turkey's foremost club, placing them above other teams.
He said, according to Galatasaray's official website, "It was important to break my record in my first season. I am at one of the most important clubs in the world.

"The biggest club in Turkiye. I would like to thank my family and friends for helping me. I would like to thank the technical team and the club staff.
"They never left me alone. This season is a memory that I will remember for the rest of my life."
Victor Osimhen lauded his Galatasaray teammates, highlighting that his main focus extends beyond personal statistics like goals and assists to prioritise the overall triumph of the team.

He continued, "Apart from goals and assists, I like to help the team. I want to get the ball in the future, help the midfield, and do my best for the team.
"The team comes first for me. When I convert opportunities into goals, it makes me happy. The important thing is not Victor Osimhen but the team. Roland is also very important. We can say the same thing for Mario, Torreira and Sanchez."
Galatasaray wishes to keep Osimhen for the upcoming season but will need to battle it out with other top clubs in Europe for his signature.
