Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has disclosed the close-knit relationship the Super Eagles players have in the team.
The Nigerian international has been a constant for Fulham and one of the best players this season.
Iwobi has scored seven goals and provided three assists for his greatest season in the Premier League.
He has also been an important player for the Super Eagles and was instrumental in helping the team get to the final of the 2023 AFCON tournament.

In an interview with Chinasa Anukam on the Is This Seat Taken program, Iwobi highlighted the team's unity and shared his favourite memory from Nigeria's AFCON 2023 match against the Ivory Coast.

He said, “My favourite moment from AFCON 2023 was beating South Africa on penalties. Our goalkeeper [Nwabali], that’s my guy.
“We’re one big family, we don’t like having big egos, and we’re all as good as each other. Obviously, we’ve got people nominated for Africa’s best, but we’re trying to be Africa’s best team. That’s how we see it.”
Iwobi has also revealed that the team is aiming to win the AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco.

He concluded, “We want to win the AFCON, we were so close in the last one, and I want to win the next one.”
This season, Alex Iwobi has played in every game for Fulham in the English Premier League, as Marco Silva's side remains in ninth position.
