Chiamaka Nnadozie was the heroine as Paris win Coupe de France

Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was the star of the show as Paris FC stunned Paris Saint-Germain 5-4 on penalties to win the Coupe de France title.

The match ended 0-0 after full time, with Nnadozie making a series of brilliant saves throughout the game.

In the penalty shootout, Nnadozie saved two penalties from Korbin Albert and Jade Le Guilly, securing Paris FC's historic win.

This marks the second time in the tournament's history that Paris FC has lifted the trophy.

The reigning African Women's Goalkeeper of the Year has had an exceptional season, keeping 12 clean sheets and helping Paris FC secure a UEFA Women's Champions League spot and a league playoff berth.

Her impressive form will be a significant boost for the Nigerian senior women's national team, the Super Falcons, as they prepare to compete in the Women's Africa Cup of Nations in July.

The Super Falcons are set to face tough competition in Group B of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, alongside Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana, as they aim to reclaim the title after finishing fourth in the last edition.

Nnadozie is expected to join Everton at the end of the season and will be looking to end the season on a high note when Paris FC takes on Dijon FC on Wednesday.
