Pochettino has denied potential Tottenham return
USMNT coach Mauricio Pochettino has stated a return to Tottenham Hotspur's managerial position is currently unrealistic, following the club's dismissal of Ange Postecoglou.
The 53-year-old led Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019 and secured consistent top-four Premier League finishes during his four seasons at the helm.

However, he was dismissed later that year after a poor start to the 2019/20 season.

‘We struggled’ - Jay Jay Okocha opens up on life with Ronaldinho, Arteta and Pochettino at PSG
Jay Jay Okocha, pitchside at the PSG-Arsenal Champions League semifinal, reflects on the struggles of playing with Ronaldinho, Arteta, and Pochettino at a turbulent PSG, praising the club's progress toward European glory.
Tottenham are currently managerless after parting ways with Postecoglou. Despite guiding the London club to the Europa League title – their first trophy in 17 years – the Australian's position became untenable after a disappointing 17th-place finish in the Premier League.
What Pochettino said
"Since my departure in 2019, every time the manager's position at Tottenham becomes available, my name is linked with it. But if you look at the rumors, there are probably at least a hundred candidates. What happens at Tottenham doesn't concern me. As of today, it's unrealistic to suggest I'll be returning," Pochettino stated after the USMNT's 2-1 friendly defeat to Turkey.

Last September, Pochettino signed a two-year contract as head coach of the US national team and will lead them into the 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The Americans' next match is against Switzerland on Tuesday in Nashville, Tennessee.
