What Rashford said
In a video making the rounds on social media, Manchester United loanee Rashford was playing the “this or that” game. In this case, the names of two footballers are thrown at the player, Rashford, and he has to pick the better player, “this or that.”
The first names in the draw were Palmer and Osimhen, and after a momentary pause to consider the question, Rashford picked his national teammate, Cole.
He also voted the Chelsea star against names like Marcus Thuram and Viktor Gyokeres before conceding the 22-year-old was the inferior when pitted against Real Madrid's Rodrygo.
Osimhen and Cole Palmer could be teammates
Palmer had an individual Premier League campaign that would go down in history last term, but he did not achieve anything in a collective, as Chelsea were out of sorts that season.
Part of the plans to remedy the poor season was to sign a proven centre-forward, as Nicolas Jackson proved lacking, and Victor Osimhen was identified as an ideal candidate. However, the Blues failed to get the deal across the line last summer.
Still, Super Eagles legend John Mikel Obi assured that Chelsea will return for Osimhen. Also, the club's co-owner, Todd Boehly, recently admitted they were in the striker market. So, maybe in the near future, it would not be “Palmer or Osimhen,” but instead, Palmer and Osimhen leading Chelsea to glory.
