In a recent conversation with Iker Casillas, Piqué reaffirmed his interest in leading the Blaugrana club, saying,
"If the club needs me, I will be Barcelona's president." However, he also acknowledged the significant sacrifices that come with the position.
"Being Barça's president involves many sacrifices, especially for someone like me, who doesn’t need it," Piqué explained.

"For others, the position opens many doors, but for me, it would be a much bigger sacrifice."
Despite the potential drawbacks, Piqué feels a sense of responsibility toward the club, saying,
"Barça has given me everything, and I am who I am because of this club. We become what we are thanks to the teams we belong to and that gives us everything."
While he's uncertain about when or if he'll run for president, Piqué keeps the door open, stating,
"It depends on the club’s circumstances and my personal situation, we will see."
