Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer who is on loan from Bayern Munich will see his deal expire in the summer transfer window but is still undecided on his future.
The 29-year-old netted his first goal in United colors in the 3-1 comeback win over nine-man Fulham which punched their ticket to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Despite admitting that he was happy and enjoying his time at Manchester, Sabizter was still unsure about his future at the club but promised to offer his full commitment until the end of his loan deal.
"I had to make a quick decision (to join) in January. I was focused on this, it was clear it is just a loan until the summer. I take every game as it comes, and I am very happy to be here. I will give 100%. Whatever happens in the summer, we will see…
"I can play all over midfield, I think. I like to do the dirty work. I like to run, to go forward, box-to-box movements. A lot of transitions and high-intensity games are what I am having here.
"I am very happy to be part of this team, this amazing club, and I feel very welcomed. I am very happy at the moment," said the Austrian midfielder.
The former RB Leipzig midfielder has made nine appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side since joining United on the deadline day of the January transfer window.
Sabitzer also opened up on the significance of the win against Fulham after they went 1-0 down to Aleksandar Mitrovic’s goal before Bruno Fernandes’ brace and the on-loan Bayern midfielder netted to claim the victory.
"It’s massive, a big win. We’re very happy, but it was a hard game. Fulham are a tough opponent, good team, good players. We are very happy with the result.
"I was just hoping Luke (Shaw) would play me this ball. I tried to hit it with my left one, and I am very proud and a happy moment," added Sabitzer.
