Ademola Lookman: Premier League giants handed huge boost in race to sign Africa's best
Super Eagles of Nigeria and Napoli forward Ademola Lookman is edging closer to a Premier League move, according to reports.
What Lukaku said
The 32-year-old joined the Naples-based club last summer for €30 million after three years of uncertainty, in which he fell out with Chelsea and spent two seasons on loan at Inter and Roma.
The Belgians' first season at the Diego Armando Maradona was a success, finishing as their top scorer in their fourth Scudetto triumph.
He is well settled at the club and does not envision leaving until at least the end of his contract. “I still have a contract with Napoli until 2027, and I want to finish it, so I will remain in the blue shirt; there are no doubts,” he said in his interview with Belgian outlet VTM Nieuws, per AreaNapoli.

Lukaku’s future plans
The former Everton striker remains focused on Napoli; however, when his contract expires in 2027, he wants to play out the rest of his career at his boyhood club, Anderlecht.
“I will be there starting from the fifteenth of July [at Napoli]. I want to do my best for that club that trusted me when no one else wanted me.”
“After that, it might be time to go back home. I also promised it to my eldest son, who also plays for Anderlecht. I hope that the internal disputes will have been resolved by that date.”
By internal disputes, Lukaku is referring to the leadership and financial problems Anderlecht has been rife with in recent years. They have also had fan troubles, with instances of protests and violence.
His son currently plays in the youth ranks at Anderlecht, and Lukaku could be eyeing an iconic moment in which they would share the pitch. Cristiano Ronaldo is believed to harbour the same dreams.
