Victor Boniface's second goal in two matches have been celebrated by Bayer Leverkusen in style.

German champions Bayer Leverkusen celebrated Victor Boniface's decisive goal in their DFB Pokal quarterfinal victory over FC Koln with a lively message in Pidgin English. 

Boniface, who came off the bench in the 76th minute, secured the 3-2 victory after Leverkusen mounted a comeback from two goals down in the quarterfinal clash on Wednesday night.

Koln had taken a surprising lead, with Downs scoring just before halftime and Maina doubling their advantage after the break. However, Leverkusen responded, with Patrik Schick scoring in the 62nd minute, and again in the 90th minute before Boniface scored the winner in the 98th minute.

Leverkusen’s social media admin was swift and creative with his reaction after the remarkable goal completed the turnaround for the defending champions.

Boniface scored the winner against Koln.

The Nigerian striker's extra-time winner sparked an enthusiastic reaction from the club's social media team, who posted, "ABEG. HE DEY SCORE GOALS.....OOOOOOOOO," on their X account.

The goal was Boniface's second consecutive goal for the club after returning from injury. 

Boniface returns with a bang.

Boniface marked his return from a two-month injury layoff in style, scoring in Leverkusen's 3-1 win over Hoffenheim3. 

After the Hoffenheim game, Alonso said, "The situation last week was a bit strange, uncomfortable. It was important that Boni felt important again, he should feel the love of the fans, that's good for his head.”

Meanwhile, Leverkusen's initial reaction was a stark contrast to Boniface's own response. After the game, Boniface took to social media to respond to criticism over football talent levelled against him by a Pulse Sports presenter.

The 24-year-old has not been amused by the idea that he lacked football ability and has now reacted across social media platforms.
