Chelsea manager has admitted that the club's win over West Ham on Monday night was one of their toughest games.

Chelsea staged a second-half comeback to defeat West Ham 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, moving up to fourth place in the table.

The visitors took the lead when Jarrod Bowen, returning from injury, capitalized on a poor backpass from Levi Colwill.

However, Chelsea's fortunes changed in the second half, with substitute Pedro Neto scoring the equalizer. The winning goal came courtesy of an own goal by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca praised his team's resilience, saying, "It is huge. It was a tough game, especially mentally."

Maresca acknowledged the challenges of facing a defensive-minded team, stating, "It is never easy when teams come here and wait and sit back. You need to be patient. There is no space, you need to move the ball and wait for the right moment."

He concluded, "In the second half, we came back, and overall, we deserved to win the game. They were waiting for our mistakes, and you can't get frustrated."

The victory propelled Chelsea two points above fifth-placed Manchester City and Newcastle United in sixth, and within four points of third-placed Nottingham Forest.
