Ancelotti has reacted to referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea dishing out red cards to several Real Madrid players.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti refused to discuss the refereeing controversy surrounding the Copa del Rey final, instead focusing on his team's performance in the 3-2 loss to Barcelona.
Referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea handed out multiple red cards in the Copa del Rey final, dismissing Real Madrid's Antonio Rüdiger, Lucas Vazquez, and Jude Bellingham after objects were thrown onto the pitch by Rüdiger and other teammates.

What Ancelotti said
“I don’t want to talk about the referee. I’ll have to see what happened [with the third red card, shown to Bellingham] because I don’t know. We’ll have to wait now,” he said in a press conference after Real Madrid’s 3-2 loss to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.
Ancelotti explained that he brought Mbappé on in the second half when the tempo dropped.
He continued, "It was a good game and we competed well. The first half was more complicated, but we were better in the second half. The match was under control. I don’t want to talk about the referee."

He continued, "He came into the game well, scored the equaliser, and had so many chances. I preferred to put him on in the second half... He couldn’t cope with 90 minutes, and that’s why I preferred to put him on in the second half."
