Romelu Lukaku has reflected on his career journey so far, insisting there was one club he should never have joined.

Napoli striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed a significant regret from his 2017 transfer, admitting he never wanted to join Manchester United.

The 32-year-old moved from Everton to Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United for a reported £75 million in the summer of 2017.

During his two-year stint at Old Trafford, Lukaku was among the Premier League’s top forwards, scoring 42 goals in 96 appearances across all competitions.

However, he disclosed that his heart was set on returning to Chelsea. In an interview with Het Nieuwsblad,
