Onana has revealed how Lampard's call sealed his Everton move.
Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has opened up about the pivotal role Frank Lampard played in securing his signature during the summer of 2022, revealing that the former Chelsea legend was “calling me like two, three times a day” during the transfer window.

Speaking on The Inside Scoop, Onana reflected on his transfer from Lille to Goodison Park in a £33 million move, saying Lampard’s persistence combined with his status as one of England’s greatest midfielders made the decision “impossible” to turn down.
