Osimhen was one of the top transfer targets during the January window and was linked with a move to teams like PSG, Arsenal and Manchester United
The Nigeria international’s goal-scoring prowess has continued to pique the interest of many top clubs despite his season-long move from Napoli to join the Yellow Reds.
Despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and other teams, Osimhen remained at Galatasaray.

Amunike full of praise for Osimhen
Amunike went on to say in an exclusive interview with Africafoot on Friday that Osimhen made the right choice to stay at Galatasaray.

He said, “I think he made the right decision to stay at Galatasaray during the winter transfer window and not rush into transfers, despite multiple interests.
“He has been massively welcomed and appreciated in Turkey, and it is only important that he thank them with gratitude.

“He was able to regain his full potential, and all this is due to the fact that he was given a chance when he quarrelled with the people of Naples.”
Osimhen has scored 12 goals in the Super Lig and five in the Europa League since joining Galatasaray, for a total of 17 goals in 22 appearances.
