Chelsea are reportedly keen on adding West Ham's Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus as Enzo Maresca looks to create a fearsome attack for next season.
Enzo Maresca's Chelsea reportedly made an informal approach for West Ham's Mohammed Kudus but were informed that the Ghanaian forward would command a high fee.
No formal bid has been submitted, but Kudus, who has a £85m release clause active for the first 10 days of July, has been on Chelsea's radar for a while.

'We played almost all of last season without Mudryk' - Maresca opens up on Chelsea's search for a winger in the transfer market
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed the club's plans to strengthen their wing options before the new Premier League season.
Kudus has shone at West Ham since his £38m move from Ajax in 2023. While Chelsea are also considering Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, they view Kudus as a superior option and are prepared to pursue a deal for the versatile attacker.

West Ham are reluctant to let their star man leave, although there is an acceptance that his sale could provide significant funds.
They regard Jarrod Bowen as the only player not available for transfer under any circumstances, but any move for Kudus must bring in significant funds.
Chelsea, having recently signed Liam Delap to bolster their attack, intend to remain active in the transfer window and have been linked with Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres.
