The horrid injury
As Pulse Sports reported, Musiala had to be stretchered off during the Club World Cup quarter-final clash between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Just before halftime, with both sides playing well and the goalkeepers shining, Gianluigi Donnarumma inadvertently injured Jamal Musiala in what appeared to be an avoidable collision.
Pacho tried to hold the ball up for Donnarumma, who dove to collect it. In the ensuing action, he seriously injured the German midfielder.

Replays clearly show the incident, and it's likely Musiala, who had just recovered from a major injury to play in this Club World Cup, will be sidelined for the rest of the year.
What Max Eberl said
Eberl was visibly distraught after the game and blamed Donnarumma for Musiala’s injury, deeming him inconsiderate.
"When I jump onto his [Musiala's] lower leg while sprinting, weighing 100 kg, there's a high risk of something happening. I don't think he did it intentionally, but he also wasn't being considerate,” Eberl told DAZN.
Reports since the injury have claimed that Musiala damaged his fibula and several ligaments. He is expected to be out until later in the year.
