Arsenal are set to reward the youngster with Nigerian descent, Ethan Nwaneri, with a new contract following his impressive display against Manchester City.
At the age of 15 years and 181 days, Nwaneri became the youngest player to play in the Premier League, having made his debut against Brentford in 2022.
The Hale End Academy product has since made 24 first-team appearances and scored seven goals for the Gunners this season.
His recent goal came against Premier League champions Manchester City with a brilliant goal during their 5-1 thrashing at the Emirates Stadium.

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly will be involved in the process of signing new contracts at Arsenal following the conclusion of the transfer window, with negotiations already in progress, according to Fabrizio Romano on X.

Nwaneri, who has established himself in the senior squad throughout the current campaign, is being offered a new contract by the Gunners that reflects his standing as a first-team player.
The midfielder declined offers from Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United before the 2023–2024 season, opting instead to accept a scholarship contract with Arsenal.
