Nigerian Women's Football League star has said goodbye to the single life by marrying her boyfriend who is also a soccer player.
One of the most beautiful players in the Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL), Hauwa Abdullahi, celebrated her wedding to longtime boyfriend Suleiman Yahaya in a colourful ceremony held in Abuja on Saturday.
The wedding of Hauwa, which took place in Jiwa, Gwagwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), was attended by officials and players of Confluence Queens, who came to support their captain on her special day.

Hauwa, who has been with the Lokoja-based club for seven seasons, exchanged vows with Suleiman, a footballer for FRSC FC, Abuja.
Several clergymen officiated the ceremony, offering prayers for a successful and fruitful union.
Tosin Ojo, Team Manager of Confluence Queens, conveyed congratulations on behalf of the management, players, and officials of the club.
She offered prayers for the newlyweds and expressed hope that their marriage would be filled with joy. Ojo also emphasised that Hauwa's wedding should serve as an inspiration to other female footballers and athletes to consider life after football and plan for marriage.
