Super Eagles of Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa has opened up on his thoughts about Cristiano Ronaldo’s mega-money move to Al Nassr.

Musa played for Al Nassr between 2018 and 2020, during which he won the 2018-19 Saudi Arabia top-flight diadem and the 2019 Saudi Super Cup, while scoring 11 goals and creating 14 assists in 58 appearances for the Saudi League giants.

However, the 30-year-old superstar has now opened up on his thoughts following Al Nassr’s signing of Portuguese legend and five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Pulse Sports Nigeria, he said:

‘As you can see, he [Ronaldo] is doing well. He has scored a lot of goals. It’s my former club, and I’ve won a lot of trophies before I left. I’m still wishing them all the best, because they[Al Nassr] are part of me. So, I always watch their game and I wish him [Ronaldo] and the club all the best in the end of the season.’

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December 2022, having signed a mouth-watering £173million-a-year deal, with the legendary Portuguese taking the number 7 jersey previously won by the Super Eagles skipper.
