Remo Stars have completed the signing of the 2018 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) top scorer, Junior Lokosa, from Qatari club Al-Rayyan.
Pulse Sports reported that Remo Stars manager Daniel Ogunmodele revealed that his club is in the market for strikers ahead of the second round in the NPFL.
The Ikenne club have scored only eight goals in nine matches in the NPFL this season and are currently 5th in Group A.
The team is banking on Lokosa to replicate his goal-scoring form when the NPFL resumes on March 25.
Lokosa arrives at the club as a Nigeria international, although he has just one cap for the Super Eagles, which came in friendly game against the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2018.

Ogunmoded said that the Blues are in the market for solutions to their lack of cutting-edge in the final third.
“We also have injury worries, but I can tell you that we have two new strikers in our camp. We are looking at their performances ahead of the second round.

“We are in the market to get new strikers,” Ogunmodele said per Oyosports news. “We created lots of chances in the first round but were unable to convert them.”
Remo Stars profile ahead of NPFL return
The Sky Blue Stars had an explosive January, winning three of their first-round matches and scoring five goals while maintaining clean sheets in those fixtures.

The Remo Stars were knocked out of the Ogun State FA Cup by their academy team, Beyond Limit.
