Odion Ighalo and Cristiano Ronaldo were on target in wins for their respective teams.

Two of the biggest teams in the Saudi Pro League were in action, and two of its best attackers delivered fine performances today.

And although Al Hilal's win was not enough to catch up with Al-Nassr, Ronaldo continues to be behind Odion Ighalo on the top scorer's chart.

Ronaldo's incredible free-kick against Abha

Al Nassr went into the game needing all three points to close down Al Ittifaq, who won earlier in the day.

They fell behind to a 26th-minute strike by Abdulfattah Adam Mohammed. They were behind until the 78th minute of the game, after a moment of magic by Ronaldo.

The 38-year-old rolled back the years, burying a free-kick from some way out to give Al Nassr an equaliser, grabbing his 8th goal of the season.

Faris Najd were handed an opportunity to go ahead in the 86th minute of the game from the penalty spot, and Anderson Talisca took responsibility and buried the ball into the back of the net to grab all three points for Al-Nassr.

Ighalo scores again

Although they are going strong in the Champions League, Al-Hilal have fallen off pace in the Saudi Pro League.

Odion Ighalo scored for a third consecutive game and his 12th for the season, grabbing the lead for Al Hilal in the 15th minute before setting up Mohammed Kanno to make it two in the 34th minute.

Salem Al-Dawsari capped off the scoring in the 90th minute of the game, as the hosts strolled to a 3-0 lead.
