Manuel Pellegrini speaks on his teams chances of overturning a 4-1 deficit against Manchester United.

Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has said he believes a comeback against Manchester United is possible and that his team will go for it from kick-off.

Real Betis lost 4-1 to them at Old Trafford last week, and they face an uphill battle to qualify when they host Manchester United at the Benito Villamarin for the second-leg of their Europa League clash.

What Pellegrini said

Pellegrini was speaking today, ahead of the second-leg clash against Manchester United in the Europa League.

He said the most important thing was to believe they could achieve a comeback, and his team went into the game with that mindset.

However, he cautioned that Manchester United are a great team with a budget that dwarfs theirs, and if they fail to beat them to qualify, it will not be seen as a failure.

"the first and most important thing is to believe, try from the first minute to the end and think that you can reverse,” he said, per Relevo.

"If it is not achieved, it is not a failure. It is a Champions League team with a budget six, seven or eight times stronger than ours, which has players worth 80 or 100 million who have bought recently."

Real Betis squad to face Manchester United

Real Betis have released their squad list for the players to face Manchester United in the second leg of their Champions League tie.

The only major absentee from the list is Nabil Fekir, who suffered a knee injury, and is ruled out for the rest of the season.

Sergio Canales, who passed a fitness test to be included in the squad for the first-leg, but could only start from the bench, has collected more minutes under his belt and is expected to take his place in the starting line-up.
