Last week, reports emerged that the alleged victim accused the Paris Saint-Germain wingback of molesting her against her wish, after the footballer paid for her to his home in Boulogne, Paris.
However, Hakimi’s lawyer has firmly denied the accusations, calling it ‘false’, and also revealing that her client is willing to cooperate with the investigation.

Since the case had been reported by various media outlets, Hakimi is yet to publicly speak out.
And last week, the PSG wingback was officially charged with rape in France However, the footballer has reportedly spoken with his friends and have told them his own side of the story about what happened to the young woman with whom he stayed on the night of Sunday, February 26.
According to a report from Fiesta over the weekend, one of the best friends of the Moroccan World Cup star has hinted on the player’s feeling amid the current rape accusations.
The footballer's friend told the program that he spoke to him before the news broke completely and that Achraf assured him that "they had set a trap for him" and that "he felt cheated".
In addition, he confirmed that the footballer's family is very affected and that they have taken it very badly, but he did not want to give details on his personal thoughts of the subject and indicated that: "God knows the truth. Not you, not me, not anyone. The only one who knows is God".
But the general feeling around those who know the player is that they believe Hakimi is innocent.

According to a report on Friday, March 3, 2023, the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund player has been charged to court over allegations of rape.
French prosecutors told AFP on Friday, that the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund defender is now officially facing charges over sexual assault allegations levelled against him.
However, under French law, being charged is no guarantee that the case will go to trial.
Hakimi’s lawyer Fanny Colin has since denied the rape accusations against the footballer, stating that the PSG star is equally cooperating with investigators on the case.
"The accusations are false. He is calm and is making himself available to the authorities.", Collins was quoted to have said as per Le Parisien.
Hakimi is yet to publicly respond to the rape accusations and PSG are still yet to make a statement.
