Joba Ogunwale 15:41 - 04.02.2023

Hello, welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League clash between Manchester United vs Crystal Palace. Rashford doubled United's lead but Schlupp pulled one back for Palace. Meanwwhile, Liverpool are 3-0 down at Wolves

Next up for United is a home clash against Leeds United on Wednesday. That's it from me. I hope you enjoyed the ride. Until next time, bye for now,

  • Casemiro's moment of madness almost cost United the three points but Ten Hag's men managed to hold on.

  • FT Manchester United 2-1. Despite late pressure from Palace following Casemiro's dismissal, United held on for the win. The Red Devils go ahead of Newcastle in third place, three points behind Man City.
  • Here's the potential winner for United.

  • Here is a strange stat. That was Casemiro's first straight red card in Europe's top five leagues.
  • Three minutes plus stoppage time at Old Trafford. Ten Hag removes substitute Garnacho and Aaron Wan-Bissaka for Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
  • Meanwhile, at Molineux, it has been a total demolition job from Wolves as Ruben Neves puts them 3-0 ahead against Liverpool
  • Red card or not??
  • Meanwhile, at Villa Park, Leicester have taken a 4-2 lead in what has been an exciting match. What result this would be for the Foxes if they can hold on.
  • Casemiro's dismissal has changed the direction of this game. United looked to be comfortable before his dismissal but they are now living on the edge.
  • GOAL!!!!! Manchester United 2-1 Crystal Palace. What do we have here? Suddenly, Palace are back in it after Jeffrey Schlupp finished into the roof of the net with an unorthodox finish.
  • Well, that escalated quickly. Casemiro has been sent off for a violent conduct on Hughes. That does not look like a red card to me.
  • GOAL!!!! Manchester United 2-0 Crystal Palace. Game, set, Match? Marcus Rashford taps home from close range to put United in a comfortable position.  That man just can't stop scoring.
  • It is Ten Hag who blinks first as he takes off Wout Weghorst for Garnacho

To their credit, Crystal Palace have started well in the second half after a lacklustre display in the opening half

  • Second half underway at Old Trafford
  • Half-time Manchester United 1-0 Crystal Palace. Fernandes' early penalty gives United a one-goal lead at the break. Meanwhile, Brighton have scored a quickfire double to go 2-0 up against Southampton.
  • It's 2-2 at Villa Park and it's the Senior Man with his second league goal of the season on a rare start for Leicester. Brendan are you watching??
  • Conspiracy theories flying around. Could Klopp's seventh year curse be the reason for Liverpool's slump??
  • Chance! United come close to doubling their advantage, but Fred shot just went wide past the post. That was close.
  • Meanwhile, at Villa Park, Aston Villa are 2-1 up against Leicester, courtesy of Ollie Watkins' brace after an equaliser from James Maddison.
  • If this Liverpool slump continues, Klopp's days may be numbered at Anfield. Meanwhile, United are dominating their clash against Palace, although they are yet to add to their one-goal lead. Not a good afternoon for the Merseyside Reds
  • What a finish from Dawson.
  • By the way, Everton handed Arsenal just their second defeat of the season, but Arteta remains proud of his players. You can watch his reaction below.
  • Make that two. Craig Dawson piles more misery on Jurgen Klopp's men as he doubles Wolves lead. What is going on at Molineux?
  • Meanwhile across other grounds, Liverpool are down by one goal at Wolves, courtesy of a Joel Matip own goal.
  • GOAL!!!! 6' Manchester United 1-0 Crystal Palace. Bruno Fernandes gives United a perfect start as he converts from the spot.
  • Big decision at Old Trafford as United are given a penalty after Will Hughes handled a cross in the box.
  • Kick off at Old Trafford. We already started the day with an upset after Everton stunned Arsenal. Are we in line for another one this afternoon?
  • Here is how both Manchester United and Crystal Palace line-up.
  • The team news are out. United make two changes from the side that beat Nottingham Forest in their Carabao Cup clash on Wednesday, with David De Gea and Marcus Rashford replacing Tom Heaton and Alejandro Garnacho, respectively.  New signing, Marcel Sabitzer is on the bench.
  • Man Utd can move up to third today with a win, three points behind second place Manchester City. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are looking for their first win in all competitions this year.
