Whyte is of the opinion that he deserves a rematch with Joshua, not Franklin.

British professional boxer Dillian Whyte has expressed displeasure about the upcoming fight between Anthony Joshua and Jermaine Franklin.

It is being reported that Joshua is set to make his return to the ring in 2023 against Franklin.

Last November, Whyte took on Franklin in a tough outing at the 02 Arena in London.

It was reported back then that the winner of the fight between Whyte and Franklin will take on Joshua in early 2023.

Whyte was able to get a majority decision victory against Franklin after a back-and-forth 12-round bout.

Franklin after the loss was critical of the judges' decision and was certain he did enough to earn the win against Whyte.

There were reports of a rematch between Franklin and Whyte before the mega-fight against Joshua was announced.

According to Whyte, Eddie Hearn Chairman of Matchroom Boxing and Joshua's promoter did not keep to his word.

In an interview with the Sun, Whyte questioned the decision of Joshua to take on Franklin after a loss.

He also stated that Hearn continues to make false promises as he was expecting a rematch with Joshua.

Whyte said, “I am all right but facing the usual b******s, I just want to make some fights but it’s f***ing frustrating.

“Everyone was told, all the boxing fans, the winner of me and Franklin fights AJ, so this is a f***ed up thing."

Anthony Joshua was in attendance as his old foe Dillian Whyte recorded a decision victory against Jermaine Franklin in Lndon.

Joshua is set to take on Franklin at the 02 Arena in London on Sunday, April 1, 2023.

Whyte is now expected to look at other possible contenders in the boxing heavyweight division ahead of his return scheduled for the middle of the year.
