In Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round series against the visiting Orlando Magic, the Boston Celtics defeated them 109-100 thanks to a game-high 36 points from Jaylen Brown and the absence of their top scorer, Jayson Tatum.

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Miami Heat 121-112 on Wednesday in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round series thanks to 17 of Donovan Mitchell's 30 points in the fourth quarter and 21 points and nine assists from Darius Garland.
