Jordan Nwora makes history as the Pacers lose to Hawks.
The Indiana Pacers suffered a 130-143 loss to the Atlanta Hawks in an NBA fixture played in the early hours of Sunday, March 26, 2023.
The Hawks put up a monster 39 points in the first quarter to take a four-point lead.
The Pacers bounced back to also put up 39 points in the second quarter to take a two-point lead going to the halftime break.
The Hawks responded to adversity to take the third quarter by nine points.
Led by guard Dejounte Murray the Hawks to the fourth quarter by six points to record a 13-point victory.
Jordan Nwora shines in Pacers loss to Hawks
Nigerian-American professional basketball player Jordan Ifeanyi Nwora was in fine form as the Indiana Pacers lost to the Atalanta Hawks.
The 24-year-old came off the bench to record 33 points, six rebounds, one assist, and one block in 34 minutes of action.
Nwora made 12 of his 17 shots, including four of seven from three-point range and a perfect five from the free-throw line.

Nigeria's D'Tigers star Jordan Nwora made history in the Pacers' loss to the Hawks.
Nwora's 33 points led the Pacers in scoring but were also his career-high with the team since he was traded by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Speaking after the game, Nwora explained what got him going to have a productive quarter and make history with the Pacers.
He said, "Just caught a couple plays put me in some ball screens and you know I was able to you know make stuff happen off of that.
"Just trusting my teammates and I trusted myself and once I saw a few going you know I just had a lot of confidence moving forward after that.
"Hopefully I can just keep improving and getting better so long term I can you know help help the team out."
Nwora returns to action with the Pacers in their next fixture against the Dallas Mavericks scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
