Chris Paul is absolutely hyped about Cooper Flagg's arrival in the NBA.

At just 18 years old, Cooper Flagg has captured the attention of basketball enthusiasts worldwide. 

After a stellar high school career, the Maine-native made an immediate impact at Duke University. 

In his freshman season, Flagg averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game.

His exceptional performance earned him the prestigious Wooden Award, making him only the fourth freshman in history to receive this honour. 

Flagg's versatility and skill set have drawn comparisons to some of the game's greats, solidifying his status as the consensus No. 1 pick in the upcoming 2025 NBA Draft.

The Dallas Mavericks, who secured the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, are poised to select Flagg. 

The team's recent success in the lottery has been met with excitement, and Flagg's potential arrival is seen as a game-changer. 

Notably, NBA veteran Chris Paul has shared his thoughts on Flagg's abilities. Appearing on "The Pat McAfee Show," Paul stated,

"I'm in LA right now and Cooper Flagg is out there... I've been in the gym with him a couple times and he's as advertised... The Mavs getting the number one pick is crazy."

Paul has previously won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, an NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award, two Olympic gold medals, and led the NBA in assists five times and steals a record six times.
