American professional basketball player LeBron James has revealed a dream match-up on the court.

The 38-year-old James is regarded as one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the game.

James is unavailable for the Los Angeles Lakers as they aim to make a playoff push in the NBA western conference.

Recovering from an injury, James has been wearing a protective boot to all games.

He also has been spotted at the Sierra Canyon High school gym in Los Angeles to support his sons Bronny and Bryce.

On Sunday, March 5 Jamnes took to his official Twitter account to elaborate on a dream.

In the dream, James would go up against Michael Jordan also one of the greatest players in the history of the game.

James explained that the game was tied and with just five seconds he woke up.

The statement by James said, "Just woke up from having a dream that MJ and I was shooting the sh*+ back and forth at the Men's National Championship game between North Carolina/Duke! Great vibes and EPIC CLASSIC GAME! 

"It was a tie game/94-94/5 secs left/NC with the ball. My ass would wake up to use the bathroom right before seeing the ending of the game. 

Jordan retired from basketball in the year 2003 following a two-year stint with the Washington Wizards.
