Meanwhile, Team 2 had Kerley, British sprint queen Daryll Neita, British 100m and 200m record holder Zharnel Hughes, and Olympic 200m bronze medallist Brittany Brown.

Reacting to the lineup, the 2022 world 100m champion commented: "My team for the dub," to which Bednarek responded with a confused emoji.

Not letting it sly, Kerley replied again: "Walk you down like I did in Doha" and with a final response from Bednarek, he responded: "Bro you've lost against me like 10 times but hang on to that one."

In the absence of Noah Lyles and Christian Coleman, the duo are USA's next biggest sprint stars signed to the league which will debut from April - September 2025, kicking off with four meets, also known as 'Slams' with $12.6 million available in prize money.
