Olympic silver medallist Sha'Carri Richardson made an honest admission on her college days.

As the countdown continues for Sha'Carri Richardson's 2025 season's debut, the world 100m champion has revealed the shocking reason she's been quiet and misses college days.

In a post on her Instagram story, Richardson shared a screenshot of an image titled: "Why you so quiet? What's on your mind?", to which she responded with the caption: "I haven't had good crawfish since I left LSU."

The talented sprint queen had an outstanding college career at Louisiana State University (LSU), highlighted by becoming the 2019 NCAA Champion in a new 100m collegiate record of 10.75s and improving Marlies Göhr's 42-year-old world U20 best. Also, the winning time made her one of the ten fastest women in history at 19 years old.

In the 200m, she placed runner-up by less than one-hundredth of a second in a time of 22.17s, breaking Allyson Felix's junior record set at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

At senior level, Richardson won her first world title at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, where she blazed to the finish line in a jaw-dropping personal best of 10.65s. Then, in her debut appearance at the Olympic Games in Paris, she settled for the silver medal behind Saint Lucia's golden girl Julien Alfred, who became champion in a new lifetime best of 10.72s.
