Lovebirds Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman will headline the Seiko Grand Prix in Tokyo as the world's fastest couple.
For the first time in the 2025 season, the world's fastest couple, Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman, will compete together at the same meet at the Seiko Grand Prix in Tokyo on Sunday, May 18.
The power couple is scheduled to compete in the 100m against a respectable field in their respective categories.

While Richardson will make her long-awaited 2025 season debut, her boyfriend Coleman is racing in his fourth 100m race of the year and will be gunning for his first victory.
In the women's 100m, Richardson is the outright favourite for the win with her training partner Twanisha Terry serving as her biggest challenger in the field. Australia's Bree Rizzo and Japan's trio of Midori Mikase, Manara Miura, and Himani Yamanaka complete the list.
Meanwhile, Coleman has a stronger field to go against, having 18-year-old Christian Miller on his trail again, who defeated him earlier in the season at the Tom Jones Invitational. Also expected to pose some challenge are PJ Austin and Canada's Jerome Blake.
Both champions in their own right, Richardson and Coleman will hope to inspire each other to victory and keep their confidence high for the rest of the season.
The sprint queen, as the reigning world champion, has a title to defend at the same venue in Tokyo this summer. Coleman (the world's fastest man in history over the 60m event) has a bigger challenge of first making the US team before the possibility of the ultimate dream of medalling alongside his girlfriend at the world championships.

Richardson and Coleman have a loaded season ahead, but first, they must overcome the Seiko Grand Prix obstacle on Sunday.
