After years of living in denial, Nigerian sprinter Sunday Akintan's switch of allegiance to Qatar finally confirmed.
When asked how fit she is physically percentage-wise, the Olympic and World medallist said: "If I have to be honest, I'd say 65."
In November 2024, Brume survived a ghastly motor accident in the United States, alongside her British friend Annie Tagoe, who drove the car.
The track and field queens were coming back from New York when an SUV collided with their car, which resulted in multiple flips before they were rushed to the hospital.
Thankfully, they both survived the accident with major injuries and are recovering perfectly, however, the damage to the car showed the athletes were lucky to be alive.
