World Record holder Tobi Amusan returning to winning form in style with domineering victory at Ostrava Golden Spike.

On the back of a near loss at the Paris Diamond League, hurdling queen Tobi Amusan bounced back to winning ways with another brilliant performance at the Ostrava Golden Spike.

The world record holder dominated the women's 100mH in Ostrava, powering through in an effortless time of 12.45s (1.4). She finished clear ahead of Slovakia's Viktoria Forster who clocked a Season's Best (SB) of 12.74s, while Ireland's Sarah Lavin was third also in a SB of 12.76s.

Amusan's brilliant win was a follow-up to her exceptional race in Paris on Friday when she blazed to a jaw-dropping time of 12.24s to narrowly finish second behind Grace Stark, who ran a personal best of 12.21s.

The fast time both ladies clocked saw Stark move up as the fifth-fastest woman in history, while it was Amusan's second-fastest legal career time behind her world record of 12.12s.

This shows the Nigerian has bounced back to form nicely and is back to her best shape since 2022 when she won the world title in Oregon.

In addition, if Amusan continues at this pace, before the World Championships in Tokyo in September, then she'll be highly ranked as one of the top challengers for the title and regain her spot as the world's best female 100m hurdler.
